We get this question a lot. A couple of people in the area who rent their
houses have tried to use the library's CMBG passes as a perk for their
renters. We have had to make it very clear that the passes are only for
library cardholders, and that the cardholder has to be one of the CMBG
visitors. So, a cardholder cannot get tickets and hand them off to their
guests, relatives, etc. We are pretty firm about this. Having said this,
we are in the Boothbay region and very close to the gardens. These passes
are used almost daily in July and August, and we want to be sure our
regular patrons have access to them. Libraries which are further away may
not have this issue!

Best,
Jen Britton
