Since the result of the Maine game was posted already I'll just include a
few comments. In continuing the tradition of the RPI-Maine games the shot
totals were again fairly high Maine-39 RPI-36. YES, the game was a bit rougher
than your average Women's Hockey game. For RPI anyway, who has averaged a
little less than 4 PIM per game the 8 minutes in penalties was quite high.
IMO, the officials let alot of checking go early in the game which led to
the Punches which flew later.

From Sunday's Action...
Worcester, MA:

                1 2 3 TOT
Rensselaer 9 2 5 16
Holy Cross 0 0 0 0

Shots On GOAL: RPI-56, Holy Cross-2

This game was as lopsided as the score indicates. RPI had 15 players with a
point or more, Lisa Phelps led in scoring with 3 goals and 5 others had 2 goals
a piece, Cathy Urbach led with 6 points (2-4).

NOTES:
RPI is now 8-6-2 with two games left, @ SKIDMORE on Sat, Feb 20 and
@ WESLEYAN on Sun, Feb 21. Selections for Championships should come out this
week some time.
