Was trying to sort as to why a particular team won and why one lost during
the semis in Albany. Until last night only saw Wisconsin & MSU play two
games each in Providence.

MSU vs LSSU - Saw State last week playing B.U. and Maine - they seemed to
be able to skate as well as check. During the semi very little open skating.
In fact the only goal they made by bringing the puck across the blue line
was disallowed. Haven't seen LSSU play but heard annoucers decribe their
game as one with checking, grabbing, etc. designed to slow down opposition.
Also for some reason MSU didn't skate, check as hard as during the previous
game.

The game was evidently more to LS style than MSU and so they won.

UW vs UM - Saw Wisconsin last week and this week, they played similar skating
games, both more wide open than the above game. I thought Michigan got tired
and that was the difference.

Prediction in final - LSSU will slow game down and win 2-1.
