Stupid (?) question: how can Bill Clement do radio color for
CBS at the same time (for the same game[s]) as he does TV color for
TNT?? I haven't listened to any of the radio broadcasts, by the way.
I basically like Clement, too, although I find him a bit too "yappy"
sometimes (a la Joe Theismann or Dick Vermeil). The contrast in styles
between two excellent play-by-play people --- Emrick and Jiggs McDonald ---
is marked. Emrick is definitely the master of the "weird verb to describe
doing something with the puck" (e.g., *scales* it around the boards,
*trickles* it behind the goal, *shoehorns* his way between the two
defenders, *scampers* out to center ice, etc.).
