I down-loaded the video of the cross-check from the website, and it sure
looked like an "intent to injure" hit, even though the player carrying the
puck seemed to have his head down. It is, however, the ref's discretionary
call and should have depended on what he saw at the time of the hit, not on
the outcome (player on ice for 10 minutes, or whatever).
