This (the arrested player) story was in the latest Sports Illustrated, and I
noticed the stop sign on the back of the kid's jersey that was hit, as it
was hanging behind the bench in honour of him during one of his team's
later games. I didn't realize (as most people probably didn't), that there
was an actual rule regarding the placement of it; I just assumed that the
team was trying to send a *personal* message regarding hitting from
behind. So apparently this bit of legislation was already in place prior to
the incident, eh? Ironic.
