You really get into a slippery slop here and maybe you start messing with
the games and the way it is officated. Sure we can review game tape and
suspend players if there are acts that need to suspended but do we have cops
come in and arrest players. You slashed a player in the heat of the game or
checked a guy into the boards and he will miss the next game, so do we
arrest him.  Then it goes back to the old argument, the game is about the
players not the Refs and I feel even in the WCHA the games are becoming too
much about the refs, even to the point you have refs making comments about
players and calling a different set of rules for for different players. Do
we have hearing on monday and ask coachs if they sent a player out to hurt
another player? How do you prove that?
