Gopher and CC fans may be interested in a column by John Gilbert (of the Up
North Newspaper Network) on Don Lucia, Lucia's outlook on the Gophers, and
his feelings about returning to CC for this weekends series.

I especially enjoyed reading about some of the rules Lucia's players must
follow: "On the ice, a player skating offside in a practice drill causes his
whole line to hit the ice to do five "burpees." A player who misses the net
with a shot must immediately do five pushups. Other stricter rules are for
off the ice: Get a misconduct and you'll sit the rest of the game; no
drinking on school nights; mandatory class attendance or else the whole team
gets punishment duty; anyone with less than a 3.0 grade-point average has
mandatory study halls; no baseball caps can be worn in class or during
interviews; players must sit in the first three rows of their classrooms;
players not on schedule to graduate in four years must attend summer
session."
