Work has had me on the road for the past two weeks so here's my quick two
cents on the past few weeks discussions and tonight's game.

Sounds like Cupp, Fohr and Edwards had a good night on the penalty kill.
Sidourik was tough but didn't get any help. We're not going to win many zero
to minus 1 hockey games.

Seems to me Bencurik has usually been near the puck shortly before it ends up
in the back of our net so far this year but continues to see a fair share of
ice time.

The emphasis on obstruction penalties is a joke. Tonights game was one after
another.

The ice compressor broke at the Lancer game tonight and they played the
second period in a puddle and during the third the game was stopped as the
coast guard sent a search and rescue squad to patrol for potential drowding
victims. The Ak is a dump.

Looks like the milk jug controversy is still around. A letter to sports
section claimed the milk jugs would scream to the world that Omaha was
"Hicktown, USA." I found it wonderfully ironic the guy compelled to write
this letter in support of Omaha's cosmopolitian movement is named Tex :-)
