Woo, UNO comes away with a point and avoids going 0-4 on the season. I wish
this game was in Omaha, cause it sounded like a great game to watch, very
little penalties, plenty of goaltending, and 8 goals to boot. NMU took 2-0
and 4-1 leads, but UNO battled back to earn their first CCHA point ever.
 
I gotta hand it to Matt Shegos, called a great game by his standards but
still managed to taint it with an obstruciton call on UNO late in the third
after ignoring NMU tackling 2 UNO players minutes earlier.
 
I know before the season I said UNO would have 2 points after the first two
weekends, but I'm really happy with the 1. And with the Tarnished Domers
coming to Omaha on Friday, things could be looking up. We finally face a
team that isn't in the top tier.
 
Carr, Hoggan, Captain Edwards, and White with UNO's goals. White had the
GTG. Am not gonna risk butchering NMU's names with their goal scorers.
 
I'm sure there's some dissappointed NMU fans after their team blew a 4-1
lead, but I think now they know UNO is here to play.
