DULUTH--Kirk Daubenspeck tied a UW record with 62 saves as the University of
Wisconsin Badgers sweep Minnesota-Duluth in Duluth. The Badgers scored two
short-handed goals, by Mark Smith (6) and Joe Bianci (10), with a goal in
between by Tim Krug (2) and a power play tally by Darren Haley (10).
Wisconsin has gone 3-1 on their road trip to North Dakota and Duluth, and
with the win tonight, move into a third place tie with St. Cloud State, in
the WCHA, pending the outcome of Sunday's game between North Dakota and CC.
Yours,
Terry E. Tuschen Jr.
