Side thought - of all the games Prime COULD have made
Game of the Week, why did they pick UMich vs UAF? I
turned the darn thing off after 1 pd and later then turned to
CNN-SI to see what the final carnage was. There had to be
better games, like MSU - LSSU. Any insight why??
I think the Prime game is picked up from the local PASS network
which is based in Ann Arbor. So when choosing between covering a
highly-anticipated matchup taking place an hour's drive from
their Ann Arbor headquarters or covering a not-highly-anticipated
matchup taking place nearby, PASS always chooses the cheap way
out. I have never seen a Michigan game on PASS (I go to the
games at Yost) except the GLI or CCHA tournaments. Frustrating
because I would like to see an occasional road game without
making a road trip. Still better than no games for anyone, I
guess.
