Sixth place is almost a blessing for the Redskins this year.  After
having tied OSU the previous two matchup, the 'Skins got three past the
seemingly impenetrable Askey.  Of course, the CCHA playoffs are not far
away...
 
As for OSU - the supposed home ice advantage today - the presence of
Jerry Welsh could have made all the difference.  Going into today's game
(which by the way the score was 3-2) OSU was only one place behind Miami
and it could have been anybody's game.  The Redskins just had an amazing
second period.
