Tom Noble did not play in the game, J.P. played the first period,
while Michel Larocque played the second and third periods. J.P. was
credited with the win, his first since he won the 1994 NCAA semifinal
over Minnesota in St. Paul.

Also, J.P. faced over 50% of the Tigers shots, eight, as he made seven
saves. The goal J.P. gave up was the first one he has given up in
52:46 of playing time this year. His record since his return this
year is 3 games played, 1-0-0, 1.13 GAA, 1 goal allowed, 17 saves,
0.944 save rate.

It was still undesided if J.P. would play the first period of the
championship game tomorrow, but Tom Noble is expected to play at
least two periods.

BU was also only had 11 forwards dressed for the game. Mike
Sylvia and Chris Drury are with the US Junior team and Mike Grier did
not make the trip. Grier is home recovering from an injury to his
knee.

Jay Pandolfo (2), Matt Wright (2), Shawn Bates (2), Dan Ronan, Bob
Lachance, Albie O'Connell and Rich Alger (playing his first game for
the Terriers) all scored for BU.
