Wisconsin lost their first-round game in the Badger Hockey
Showdown to Notre Dame, 3-2.
 
The Badgers showed a few signs of life, autopsy showed it was
a false pulse. That may sound harsh, but it seemed like Wisconsin
was not playing with any energy, rarely making the effort to get
to the puck or make the play before the Irish did. You don't win
by letting the other team take the pla to you in both ends of the
ice.
