The Colorado Springs World Arena is soliciting for donations and has
come up with an, in my mind, clever fundraising idea.  The arena, when
built, will become the home of the Colorado College Tigers.  This is
the connection to College Hockey.  Wayne has okayed posting this.
Karen Heasley will try to scan in the ad as it appeared in today's
paper and add it to the CC Tiger Hockey home page.  A replica of the

For a tax deductible donation of just $75.00, the world-renowned Van
Briggle Art Pottery Company of Colorado Springs will cast a beautiful
6" x 6" art tile with your name, family's name, or the name of someone
you wish to honor.  Your tile will then permanently adorn the walls of
the Colorado Springs World Arena where it will be seen by arena
visitors for generations to come. You'll be sent a personalized
certificate verifying your tile inscription and World Arena Donation.

For an additional $25 donation, you can receive a duplicate tile for
your home.  You and your family will enjoy Van Briggle beauty and a
visual reminder of your part in building the Colorado Springs World
Arena.  You will be notified when your duplicate tile is ready to be
picked up at Van Briggle Art Pottery Studios.
