Release dated December 5, 1994
HOCKEY EAST ALL SPORT PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jordon Shields, Northeastern, Junior, Forward.
Shields had a monster weekend for the Huskies in a split with Boston
College. The silky smooth left winger registered an eight-point weekend,
including three goals and five assists and passed the 100-point plateau
at Northeastern. The Glocester, ONT product is second in league scoring
with 17 points and has 27 points overall.
Honor Roll:
Brad Purdie, Maine - went 1-3--4 in weekend series with BU.
Martin Legault, Merrimack - made 77 saves in sweep of Mass Amherst.
Eric Royal, UNH - 2-3--5 in series with Providence, including goal to
 send Friday's game into overtime.

HOCKEY EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Scott Parmentier, Maine, Freshman, Forward.
The Black Bears' standout rookie showed his wares this past weekend in
front of two sellout crowds at the Alfond Arena. The Blackstone, Mass.
resident scored three times and collected one assist as Maine extended
its first place lead to 11 points over Boston University. Parmentier
now has 11 points in league play and received his second Rookie of the
 Week honor this season.

HOCKEY EAST STATISTICS (December 5, 1994)
All from the HE release, except I took the penalty numbers and figured
out PIM/game and league ranks in that category, which doesn't appear on
the release.
