A number of HE boxes are forthcoming, so watch for those. Merrimack
was swept by Dalhousie this weekend, losing this afternoon 6-2. Boxes
from both games will be forthcoming in a day or so. On the bright
side, Merrimack had three freshmen score their first collegiate goals
in the 5-4 loss Saturday night.

As was posted, Vermont pasted Providence this afternoon, 8-0. For
UVM, big pointgetters were Martin St Louis (1-4--5), Eric Perrin
(0-4--4), Rob Pattison (3-0--3) and Dale Patterson (1-2--3). Tim
Thomas made 29 saves and played 49:40 to record the win for UVM,
sharing the shutout with Jon Miyamoto (10:20, 4 saves).

Bob Bell played 36:27 and surrendered 6 goals on 26 shots for PC,
which outshot Vermont 33-32. Dan Dennis relieved and allowed 3 goals
on 7 shots.

UVM also went 5 for 8 on the power play to PC's 0/8.

The Cats do appear to be for real.
