Yes, but they do not play enough games against D-I opposition to
qualify for the D-I tournament. Holy Cross and UConn are both
D-I schools who play in the ECAC East against mostly D-III competition.
Canisius is another example (ECAC West) and I believe there are a
few more in the ECAC North/Central/South (Villanova, Fairfield,
Iona, etc).
