Damp Greetings from the Chesapeake !!
 
  As one of many here on HOCKEY-L who I'm sure take great delight in Mike's
"announcement" this afternoon, and who in turn wish nothing but the best for
Mike and Heather, I thought I'd share a snippet of conversation from a flurry
of messages 'twixt Mike and I before the NC$$ Championships last Spring in
Albany.  I'd mentioned that several of us were planning to visit the Baseball
Hall of Fame on Friday's off-day between games, and Mike replied:

  Congratulations to Mike and Heather !!  But gosh - planning your wedding
in the middle of the season ?!?  I'd have thought this was an outright lock
for a traditional off-season June betrothal :-)  Next thing you know they'll
have "other plans" on Beanpot nights (*grin*) ....
