I had not realized there was as much club hockey amongst the rest of the Big Ten.  That's a 
positive thing.  The question is whether all of this and possibly some TV success can draw 
more in.  That would be good for college hockey.  The risk is that it could just result in more 
revenue concentration with the rich growing richer and poorer programs failing.

There has been a lot of speculation on what might happen next -- and
when -- in Big10 hockey.

Arena size is a factor -- but just looking at the current club team
venues doesn't tell the whole story. One option might be to play at
the current basketball arena, depending on configuration, scheduling
etc. Or at a different arena in the area. In the long run, of course,
Division 1 hockey is expensive and needs significant infrastructure.
