I am not going this year for the first time since it was in Columbus,
Ohio. What did me in this year was airline prices. I could not find a
flight for less than $550 round trip, and doubling that two was more than
I really wanted to pay for something I can watch on TV (with a cold beer
in my hand). Heck, Albany, NY is easier to get to than Tampa. To me,
Anaheim and Washington DC were both warm weather sites but also two of the
best and most fun frozen fours in my memory. And fortunately getting to
both places was fairly cheap flight-wise. Hopefully both Pittsburgh
(former home of Mr. Rogers!) and Philadelphia will be the same as far as
cheap places to get to. From the pictures during Lightening games, it
looks like the arena is in a beautiful spot! It should be fun for all who
go.
