Just some background on this player and family. His father, also named
Paul Lynch,
is a Deputy Chief in the Peabody Fire Department. The Salem News reported
recently
that the elder Lynch was issued a five day suspension from the department
for insubordination
over an issue having to do with repairs on fire apparatus and coverage at
one of the local
fire houses.

Like father, like son ?????

Maine seems to be favored by high-spritied hockey players from MA with
Irish background !!!

I saw him play a couple of games in Division 2 Preps. His game seemed more
suited to D1 Preps, and even more so to Juniors. He got a lot of penalties,
some of which I regarded as being foolish and out of proportion
retaliations. Some of the penalties seemed to be for "being too big" or
"being too strong", or for stuff that he might get away with in Juniors.
The Junior PIMs seem to indicate that he hasn't learned to control his
temper or adjust his game to the way it's being called. He's got talent
and a cannon of a shot but he needs to learn to play in some semblance of
control.
