How did Army get a vote? Who knows - somebody being silly, perhaps. What
strikes me about the poll is that I think the voters were a little harsh to
Wisconsin and not harsh enough to ND.

In the WI-BU game, BU seemed to outskate/outquick Wisconsin most of the
game. But since they were playing at BU, WI did well to win. At
Northeastern, also a good team (top 10 calibur? maybe, maybe not), playing
on the road after such a big win, WI outplayed them early on, then lost it,
then stormed back to a near miraculous victory, mostly outplaying NE until
NE scored in the OT. I would not have pulled WI out of first place for
that. NE did climb into the top 15 after the victory, and they deserved it.

But what's the story with ND? With that early record, why are they so high?
BTW, here at Division III Stevens Point, waiting for our season to start
this weekend, Point is #1 in the Division III poll. Could this be the
second year when UW-Madison wins the Div I tournament and Point the Div III?
I'll not hold my breath, but as a Cheesehead, I have to smile.
