ummm - if we hold this statement to be true.   Then, couldn't/shouldn't
deer hunters be able to decide what color clothing to wear?   They are
adults.  They should know the best form of protection for themselves too,
right?  If they choose to not wear Orange, that's their choice - they
suffer the consequences.  They know all the pros and cons too.
 
No, this isn't about hunting but the comparison in statements holds true.
 
Sometimes others just have to make the decision for "adults" based on past
experiences.
 
No offense Scott but I just don't see that argument as valid.
