We all know that Michigan has won it's record ninth NCAA Championship, but
I thought it would be interesting to take a look at how all the teams have
fared throughout the years in the Final Four and give them my own score. I
used a traditional 4-3-2-1 scoring system (4 points for the Championship, 3
for a Runner Up, 2 for Third Place, and 1 for Fourth Place). In the years
where a Third Place game was not played (1948 & 1990-98), I gave the
Semi-Finalists that did not advance each a 1.5 points (half the available 3
points). Here's how it turned out:

Rank School Total
---- ------ -----
1 Michigan 56

4 North Dakota 38
5 Denver 34
6 Wisconsin 31
