The Canadian team is not solely composed of 5th-year players. The CIAU
does not have the same restriction on playing in All-Star games that the
NC$$ has. (In fact, two of the three CIAU conferences have their own
mid-season all-star games.)
 
I wonder if TSN's coverage this year will try to build it up as some
great national rivalry. They did last year and it was nauseating. This
year would be particularly amusing, given that the US team is half-Canadian.
