Having been charmed by the town of Lake Placid of the last three tournies,
I am glad to hear this. Despite the propinquity of Clarkson, I think
Placid is pretty close to a neutral site for the main contenders, and I
simply love the look and atmosphere of the town. This is one of the few
decisions -- come to think of it, the only decision -- which is the ECAC
has made in the last few years which is good for the game and the fans.
