Hello All,
Colorado College just to a major hit to its recruiting class, Scott Gomez
has officially committed to play for Tri-Cities of the WHL. Gomez, I
have to admit is the top-rated recruit in North America. According to a
news release on the Tri-Cities homepage Gomez has committed and has
forgone his scholarship to CC. With this loss CC's recruiting class is
now a good class, but not a great class. By losing the crafty playmaker CC
will have to look to returning players to step up and continue to carry the
load.
My opinion this is a huge loss, Gomez would be a top player on any team
in the WCHA. He would have added additional scoring depth to the Tigers
and another great playmaker to a line-up that already has Brian Swanson
and Toby Peterson. Gomez is worth at least one spot in the standings!
Yes , he is that good..
Bye
Mike
