Can any Gopher fan or anyone else explain how Tom Nevers was able to keep
his eligibility while having played pro ball for the Houston Astros
organization and originally foregoeing (sp?) his potential scholarship at
Minnesota? I've never been able to glean this information from anywhere,
and this technical eligibility stuff has always confused me beyond belief.
Thanks in advance.
