Army - Polish National Team Recap

Army's Frand Fede scored an overtime goal to complete a great comeback
by the Black Knights over the Polish National Team last night at Tate
Rink in West Point, NY.

The Polish National Team outplayed Army through the first half of the
game as it seemed the Cadets were skating with the skate guards still
on. Army used two goaltending changes to help change the tide of the
game.

Army's first goal came from Greg Buckmeier, who also netted their second
and third goal for his first collegiate hat trick (although it will not
count as the game is an exhibition).

Freshman goaltender Corey Winer earned the victory, making 12 saves,
including many crucial saves during a late power play for Team Poland.

Army's next opponent will be Mount Allison, while the Polish National
Team will take the 6 hour bus ride to face the Clarkson Golden Knights
tonight and SUNY Potsdam (D-III SUNYAC) Bears.

Team Poland didn't seem to have much to put up against Clarkson, and
their goaltending, although untested by the Black Knight offense, was
suspect when SOGs did come.

Regards,
Dan
The Yankees win the pennant!!!
