I am stuck here at work, listening to the Gopher game on the
radio...and hot off the press are the awards:
 
WCHA Player of the Year:   Brian Bonin
                           Minnesota
 
WCHA Rookie of the Year:   Brian Swanson
                           Colorado College
 
WCHA Coach of the Year:    Don Lucia
                           Colorado College
 
WCHA Defensive Player of the Year:  Erid Rud
                                    Colorado College
 
WCHA Student Athlete of the Year:   Dan Trebil
 
Comments:  This is the second year in a row that Bonin has won the
WCHA POTY.  For the last three years, the Student Athlete award has
gone to a Minnesota player.
