I agree that Clarkson had an excellent weekend (without listening to
or seeing the games). Without any disrespect for BC, it was a team that
Clarkson needs to and should beat in order to obtain any respect,
nationally.

However, the Golden Knights still seem to play at the level of their
competition, which is why they have lost many games over the past 5-6
years that they should have won.

I will agree that they had a good weekend. I won't agree with the idea
of them moving up in the polls. A tie (almost a win) at BU is better
than I expected. That, in itself should get some notice, but probably
not enough to put them in the top 10.

What they need to do is win about 20 in a row to be considered in
the same ranks as the BUs, Maines, Michigans, Colorado Colleges,
and Vermonts. Clarkson has a good, experienced team, possibly to
win the ECACs, but not enough to rank nationally. *Competing*
nationally may be a different story.....

FACT: Clarkson is winless in their last 5 against RPI, going 0-4-1,
including a loss in the '94 ECAC semis. Clarkson is undefeated against
Union in their last 4, with a 3-0-1 record. A stark contrast with the
Capital District teams. Just something to ponder.....
