   1)Since the Eastern Games aren't on TV,you can't change the channel!
   2)College Hockey is just as exciting,if not more than,the NHL.  And as far
  as speed goes,former UMBear/current Maine Mariner Jack Capuano said during
  a recent UMaine broadcast that the pace of the college game is much faster
  than that in the NHL or AHL.
   3)However,I must admit that I am dying to see some NHL games-the last one I
  saw was  in November when Boston beat Hartford in OT.  Living on campus is
  not fun for NHL fans,since the only coverage is on cable.  If only the NHL
  would get a good TV contract....but that's a topic for another channel.
 
     On the eve of the NC$$ playoffs,I would like to wish all teams the best
