A reminder that, barring any unforseen technical glitches that go along with
Show #1, that Around the Rinks, the first national college hockey weekly talk
show, premieres tonight by 8 p.m. ET. -
Don't be misled by that time, however.
You can listen to the show 24 hours/day, 7 days/week using RealAudio. This
means you can listen any time you want from beginning to end. The show is a
computer file and is randomly accessible, which also means you can fast forward
and rewind through the show.
The site where you go to listen is listed below -- and if you are still
unfamiliar with RealAudio, you can learn more about it by going there also.
On the first show, there's a 10-minute feature on Maine, summarizing the events
leading up to the latest sanctions, plus a retrospective on last year's NCAA
Tournament. Finally, the show ends with a 5-minute tribute to Tom Mees,
including an interview with Bob Norton.
Constructive criticism is welcome.
