HOCKEY-L has had several posts concerning the possibility of Northern
Michigan will (re-)join the CCHA, and the speculation that Michigan Tech
might go with them. Although Dave Fisher (Tech's SID) refuted that
rumor (saying that MTU has no intentions of leaving the WCHA), that info
didn't get any further than HOCKEY-L, so the question came up on the
Michigan Tech Alumni discussion list. The following post (forwarded with
permission) is one Tech alumnus' feelings on the matter; subsequent
posts have shown a STRONG feeling among alumni the MTU should stay
in the WCHA.

Note that no disrespect to the CCHA or CCHA teams is intended; Scott
is trying to use humor to make a point. I'm NOT trying to start a
"my league is better than yours" flamewar, so please don't do so!
