For those of you who don't seem to get it I will quote Dave Fischer, MTU
Sports Info Director again from March 12, 1996:
 
        Michigan Tech has no plans whatsoever to leave the WCHA.

MTU is right at home in the WCHA and should never leave in my opinion.  If NMU
wants to leave that is their problem and their concern, but that doesn't
automatically mean that MTU has to leave also.  I agree that the Big 10 has
nothing to do with hockey and why should we try to accomodate the money making
involved with Big 10 schools playing one another.
