I think the National Football League has set a very good
example on how re-seeding the playoffs should be done.
With the expanded wild-card system, the 3rd team plays
the 6th team and the 4th plays the 5th. The 1st team
then gets to play the lowest ranked team left.
I agree that the NCAA Hockey tournament should work the
same way. The #1 seeds in each region should play the
lowest seed left in the region in the second round.
Therefore, if the 6th seed knocked of the 3rd seed, then
the #1 seed should play the 6th seed instead of the 4th
or 5th seed.
And...We'll be traveling from Boston to Albany. I'm from
Springfield, MA so I know interstate 90 pretty well. What do
we do when we get to New York? What exit off of I-90 is
Albany? Are there any connecting routes or roads we have
to take to get to the Knick?
thanks for the help,
Brian
