I just wanted to update the Brown-Harvard score. The game finished just as
reported, 3-1 in favor of the Bears. It was the first time in my life that I
ever listened to a full game on the radio. I really wanted to watch Haravrd
get beat, but alas there is no cable in a dorm room. From the sound of the
announcers, Brown benefitted from the large ice surface, and handled the puck
very well. Coming from Minnesota, I wanted Harvard to get beat for two rasons:
the 1988 (?) NC$$ Championship game and to hopefully set up a possible game
between the Bears and Gophers somewhere in the NC$$ tourney. I never thought
I would actually be able to cheer a hockey team other than the Golden Gophers,
during a season-ending tournament. I'm sure someone will post a complete
summary, but I just wanted people out in the net-world to know that senior
Scott Hanley played tonight after separating his shoulder in the second period
of Sunday's game against Yale. These guys want to win...badly. Watch out
Clarkson! The Bears won't sit on a 4-0 lead this time around!
