The SOS Rating is obtained by adding a team's winning percentage
to the aggregate winning percentage of opponents they have faced
(not including head-to-head contests with that opponent).

NOTE: The following games have not been included in the SOS for the following
reasons:

Conn. College at Oswego (1/14) - No result reported
Potsdam at New England (1/15) - No result reported
Cortland 5, Cansisius 2 (1/20) - Designed as a non-conference game
due to Cansisius (Divsion I) scheduling 26 games against ECAC
(Division II/III) teams.

SOS ECAC West/SUNYAC Ratings
Games through 1/20/93

Mercyhurst was the big winner this week, moving from 4th to 2nd as a result of
victories over RIT and Oswego. Cansisius's tie with lowly Geneseo hurt them,
ditto Elmira's loss to AIC.

Based entirely on winning percentages, the standings would be
(interesting because these would have been the official
standings had the ECAC West stayed intact):
Now Prev
1 1 Plattsburgh .857
2 2 Cansisius .808
3 3 Cortland .786
4 5 Mercyhurst .750
5 4 Elmira .714
6 7 Hobart .583
7 6 RIT .536
8 8 Oswego .500
9 9 Potsdam .393
10 10t Fredonia .385
11 12 Geneseo .276
