Dave Delchamps writes about Colgate's Gagnon moving the puck up ice quickly
to catch the opposition in line changes. This is something BU does well
also. It was most successful when McEachern and Amonte were either killing
penalties or on the power play, because Cashman would come way out of net
and fire it up to #15 or #3 for what more often than not turned out to be a
great scoring chance. It is definitely a luxury to have a goaltender who
can handle the puck this well. BU will still do this often, but I think
opposing teams have picked up on it and have been able to defense it
relatively well.
