Union was the #2 or #3 seed; Minnesota was #1.  (See Jayson Moy's 
last bracketology column http://www.uscho.com/bracketology/).  After 
the seeding, Union moved up to #1 in the March 24 USCHO poll 
(http://www.uscho.com/rankings/d-i-mens-poll/)
