Only five non-forwards have ever won the Hobey. The three defensemen are
Mottau, Kurvers and Mark Fusco, the two goalies are Stauber and Miller.
Given the fact that the last two winners are non-defensemen (Miller &
Mottau), that two of the three finalists are from the west (Hartigan &
Leopold could "split" the west vote) and Haydar is the top scorer in the
country, has been (points per game) all season, and has captained a team
which is #1 in the country and won the Hockey East regular season and
tournament championships, I have to think that HE (Mr. Haydar) is the
favorite.

But, you know what, Haydar and all UNH fans would gladly give it up to win
the NCAA championship.

GO BLUE!!!
