For sure, regardless of terrorist acts, the most dangerous parts of my
trips is driving 200 mi to LA, especially the last 50 miles on the LA
freeways, rather than flying 3000 mi across coutnry, by far. As John
Whelan says, they are risk-analysis deficient.
