I've got to be about the last being in this quadrant of the galaxy to
defend Jackie Parker - afterall, BU again didn't host the Women's Beanpot
this year , at the last minute, so Pandemonium's outdoor rink is still
safe!!! - nevertheless, why in Paradise Lost does a coach need to protect
his team from fans? Where is all the security that people pretend to be so
hyped about?

IMNSHO the fan has admitted guilt in written, and needs a good dressing
down by the local police. Freedom of speech - great - abusing others, you
are over the line. This is a college hockey game, it is about the sport,
not the fans. And that's where the college game is loosing it trying to be
like the junk game in action on the ice and off it.

I attended a DIII Women's match last Sunday at MIT. It was wonderful. No
music at every stoppage of play, a few fans were really into it, but never
abusive, and an excellent performance by Manhattanville. It was a pleasure
to watch that game because no one was being assaulted by a variety of
nonsense meant to please the lowest common denominator.
