Clarkson defeats UVM 3-2 at 19:53 of the second OT to even
the preliminary series at one game each.  The two very tired teams square off in game 3 on Sunday night to determine the fifth team to go to Lake Placid next weekend.

In other action in the ECAC, #2 St. Lawrence, #3 Harvard,
#4 Cornell and # 5 Dartmouth all swept their opponents in 2 straight games to advance.
