No mention of "matching" in the rule book that I could find. Possibly
someone's description of the situation.

Somewhat similar to the popular confusion of "misconduct" and
"disqualification" as carelessly used, but different in that
there are official definitions for these two and they are not
the same.  Would public address announcers, and sports writers
please take note.
