If I were only paying 55 bucks for season tickets I'd be doing handsprings.
UNO gives you half off if you buy season tickets as a student in the
designated "student area", which isn't exactly a student section because I
have tickets down by the ice and am I think the only actual student in my
section, but my season tickets for just me were 159 dollars. You can get 20%
off single game tickets w/ student ID but you can only get said discount if
you buy those tickets with in a 2 week window at the beginning of the school
year, otherwise you pay full price, or do the rush seating thing.

<< am curious as to how many division 1 teams out there offer free hockey
tickets to students. Right now there is discussion in Grand Forks because
the students may soon be paying $55 for seasons tickets vs. getting into
games free. I know when I was at NMU (as a student) my tickets weren't
free. Are there others out there giving out free tickets, or do the
 majority charge the students? >>
