After watching two other quarterfinal games this weekend on NESN (those
other than the Maine games I missed), I noticed that with exception to UML,
attendence seemed to be real low.
 
I know that Maine failed to draw more than 3,000 for either game this
weekend.  It did snow in Orono both Thursday and Friday night, but I noticed
at Walter Brown Arena tonight that there were a ton of empty seats as well.
 
Perhaps I've never paid so much attention to attendence in the past, but is
this normal for quarterfinal series in Hockey East or is this just a down year?
 
Here's to a good crowd at the FleetCenter next weekend.  Should be some
great hockey!
