Cornell's first ECAC weekend was a pair of victories for the Big Red at Lynah
Rink, including a 4-1 drubbing of Brown on Friday night and a 5-3 win against
Harvard on Saturday. It's the Crimson's first defeat at Big Red hands since
the 1990 quarterfinals.
The Red's play seems to have stepped up a notch since last season, with a
combination of good, fast skating and able performances from the
penalty-killing and power-play teams. Senior captain Brad Chartrand notched a
hat trick in last night's win over Harvard.
Cornell is 2-0 in ECAC play and 2-1 overall.
